The developers of Little Asteroid AI Camera (novacam) (hereinafter referred to as "this Software", "this App", or "we") understand how important your personal information is to you. 1. How We Collect and Use Personal Information
1.1 Core System Functional Permissions (Camera and Photo Library)
In order to provide the core functions of this Software—taking photos, AI color grading, photo retouching, and exporting Dynamic Moments—we need to request the following permissions with your consent:
- Camera Permission: Used to capture images at any time and pass them to the real-time rendering framework.
- Photo Library (Storage) Read/Write Permission: Used to import your local photos for editing, and to export and save the processed images or Dynamic Moments to your device.
- Data Processing and Uploading: When you actively use the AI image processing or "Dynamic Moments" features, to achieve high-quality image and video processing, we will securely encrypt and upload your selected images or video materials to our servers for feature analysis and computing. Basic adjustment functions that do not rely on cloud computing will continue to be performed locally on your device.
1.2 Account Registration, Login, and Invitation System
When you use the exclusive beta invitation code mechanism, or log in via third-party authorization (such as Apple ID), we obtain the information authorized by you on the third-party platform (such as nickname, avatar) or your submitted invitation verification information to generate your app account. This allows us to provide entitlement inquiries (like VIP status) or cloud data synchronization services.
1.3 Product Operations, Security Monitoring, and Analysis
To ensure the safe operation of software services, measure operational quality, and troubleshoot crash issues, we collect the following necessary information during your use:
- Device and Network Information: Including device brand, model, OS version, device identifiers (like IDFV/IDFA, subject to your tracking authorization), network status, network access method, etc.
- App and Service Logs: To analyze application performance (e.g., whether the Color Engine V11 rendering core loads successfully or falls back), we collect your app crash logs and operation trigger frequencies. This information will be de-identified or anonymized and cannot directly identify a specific individual.
Given the AI color processing and image generation capabilities of the App, to ensure output quality and high-level services:
- When you actively request AI processing for your photos or video materials, the uploaded information is used by the server to extract features for intelligent calculation. We solely use your material and the facial features temporarily or briefly while providing image generation, processing, and optimization services. Once processed, unless we are providing cloud history asset services to you, we will not store or share your audio-visual information with any third party without authorization.
- Data Optimization: Without identifying specific individuals and under strict de-identification and security encryption, we may use anonymized statistical parameters or behavioral information through computational algorithms for model training, optimization, and iteration to enhance our AI image analysis. You may contact us to refuse recommendations made via automated decisions or withdraw your data authorization.
1.5 Reading Clipboard Information
When you participate in app events, share recommendations, or verify invitation codes, this Software may need to access your device's clipboard locally to read instruction codes (like passcodes or share codes). We only locally verify if it relates to our Software and will absolutely not collect or upload any other unrelated private content from your clipboard.
2. Integration of Third-Party SDKs and Partners
To ensure stable app operation and provide professional functionalities, we share your information with authorized third parties. We strictly require our partners to follow legal, legitimate, and minimum-necessary principles, and we sign strict confidentiality agreements with them:
- Umeng Analytics SDK and Authentication Services
- Purpose: To provide services like one-click login, APP operational data statistics, crash analysis (UAPM logs), and behavioral tracking of important interactions (such as the `dynamic_download` action for dynamic materials), our product integrates the Umeng SDK.
- Information Collected: Following national regulations, Umeng SDK needs to collect your device's IMEI, iOS IDFA, phone number, network-related information, etc.
- Privacy Guidelines: For your data security, we have stipulated strict data confidentiality obligations with third-party SDK providers. In accordance with relevant laws and Apple App Store guidelines, we fully protect your rights to manage personal information:
- Permission Management and Withdrawal: You can at any time through iOS Settings ("Settings" -> Privacy, or select the "novacam" app) close or modify authorized system permissions like camera, photo library, or ad tracking. This withdraws your authorization; while it may limit corresponding features, it doesn't affect previously conducted information processing.
- Account Deletion: If you have registered or linked an account, you can find the "Delete Account" entry in the app settings. After verification, we will irreversibly delete or anonymize your personal account information.
- Deleting Information or Requesting Copies: If necessary, you can request to query, delete, or retrieve your special record data via app entries.
4. Information Storage and Security Protection
- Storage Location and Duration: According to legal requirements, your personal information collected within China is stored domestically. We promise to preserve your personal information only for the time necessary to achieve the service objectives and within the legally stipulated time limits.
- Security Protection: We protect sensitive transmitted data with industry-standard encryption (like secure network channels) and establish strict data access and management audit processes. Even for local image calculation, we follow sandbox environment guidelines. In case of security incidents causing unauthorized access or leaks, we will notify you and take remedial measures according to the law.
5. Minors Clause
This Software primarily serves adults, but we highly value the protective measures for minors' information:
- If you are a minor under the age of 18, you should use this app under the accompaniment and explicit consent of your legal guardian.
- If you are a child under the age of 14, please ensure your parents or guardians agree to this policy, and use this app under their guidance. If we discover that a child's information was collected without parental verification, we will manage to delete it as soon as possible.
